i remember first hearing this song on the family guy episode, only problem i have is you put this in the wrong genre, hardstyle is part of techno/trance, which is where this should actually go, this isn't really DNB, but it IS hardstyle

for some reason that beginning part sounds a little off tune but i think its just me...
that bass you used is really good, and i absolutely loved the kick, where did you get your drum sounds from?

i made this with a software called Rhythm 8 and a sound called "Club Kick" it came with the software

a bit repeditive but still pretty sweet, the intro seemed a lil long to me (i can't believe im saying that 55 seconds is a long time...idk it seemed kinda long)
i also felt that the kick was a tad weak (volume), it might be my speakers but i don't think so cuz i just listened to one of my songs that had some good bass and it sounded fine.
other then thoes two things this is a nice song, the lead reminds me of static on a tv for some reason

Hehe.. well this is the sound of DarkStep for ya there, buddy lol. Gotta get used to hearing those intros cause they can range from about 30 secs to a minute just to set the mood. lol. Yeah.. kick's a bit weak, and the same for the snare, so I may have to re-compress those, or at least put the volume up just a bit. haha XD static lol. Glad you liked it lol.

this is a pretty tight dnb, the song really starts to pick up when that bass kicks in at about 1:56, that bass is pretty cool sounding.
one thing that kinda bugged me a little bit is the fact that the same kick/snare was used for the whole song, i mean its not that big of a deal but it would be nice to hear a little variation in terms of drum instraments, the rest of the instraments were pretty nice tho =]

Well, in drum and bass, the kick and snare tend to sound the same, and it gets pretty difficult when trying to use a different set of drums to let the idea flow, so I just like stickin to one thing really. But, I'm glad you liked it =D

great stuff, only problem i have is the kick that you first start out with is a little low on volume, would be great for you to turn the volume up a little on that. other then that this beat is awesome =]

Thanks! Yah I have trouble with the bass when I export the song. It's powerful in my DAW (Logic Express) but by the time I convert it to an mp3 in Itunes then submit it here, the levels are different. Songs I submit here always sound a little different than the actual file. so it's hard to mix the song right.
or it could be your headphones/speakers. For example, the headphones that come with an Ipod are crappy and have hardly any bass.

better then the demo, but still lacking, altogether its a bit repeditive, might wanna try to add a new beat somewhere in it. or even adding some kind of lead going along with the bass
