excellent working of that sidechaining. the reverb works really well for me not sure what that other guy didn't like about it.
my only complaint is the instrument choice feels a little too generic, but that is only a minor complaint and not enough for me to dock off score.

like the guy below me stated it feels a little shallow. you could probably rework that bass to allow another stronger bassline to come in and complment it.
i do like how you gave your kick drum an 8-bit feeling. the lyrics don't fit too well and could probably either be reworked to be easier to hear or changed to a melody.
overall i would say it's a 7/10, good, but could be better.
not bad! a few things:
1 - this song gets a bit repetitive and feels like you have one long sequence that keeps repeating, try variating instruments a bit to make it feel fresh.
2 - your instruments feel a bit too "preset-ish" mainly that piano you used. you can find some great free VSTs online i recommend checking that out.
3 - i do like your use of slides, especially at 2:37, that was a nice touch.
overall ill give this a 4/5 :)
Thanks for the review! I made all of the synths myself on Sylenth. The piano I use is the one that comes with FL with a bit of added reverb. I've gotten so used to it that it sounds fine to me, and it's a;ways been a bit awakening whenever someone mentions how fake the piano sounds. Any free piano plugins that you know of?
love it! my only suggestion would be to add more of that awesome bass thumping starting at 0:31.

not bad, reminds me quite a bit of your everyday heroes song. mostly at the begining. then abiout a minute in it begins to sound like a sega genesis game. it would have been nice if you included your trademark fast paced drum beat. other then that , i like it
pretty good stuff.
never really played unicycle before so I don't really know if i can say anything about how accurate it is to the original.
one thing tho, the lead at 0:39, while fitting to the mood of the beat, feels a little bit out of place considering the build-up that came before it. it feels like it is a bit loud compared to everything else.
the tune at 1:18 is very fitting to your usual style, and i enjoyed hearing that. the drum beat that comes in after that might have been better if it was more then just a basic techno drum...maybe some lower, secondary drums would have made it sound much cooler...but that is just my opinion.
as with your usual orchestral style, I was hoping you would have added something a little more orchestrated in there. orchestral can make most anything sound awesome ^.^
Your mastering is pretty well done, this feels like one of your classic songs but it also has a more modern feel (Like I said, would have loved to hear some orchestral in there)
your bass was well done, really fits your style along with the kick drum.
overall i'm gonna give this 4.5/5...Its good, but could have been better.
One more thing I would like to point out, the ending feels like it ends too abruptly, I think you would have been better to, instead of just ending it, added some kind of outro or made it loop.

Pretty good, however...the intro comes in a bit rough, it needs to be filtered a little better. other then that its a good song, i like the female voice all sliced up :P

i am suprised at the sound quality here. i made a 12 minute song and was barely able to keep the sound quality decent and under 15 MB, and yet you did it with a 18 minute song :P
i would give you a 9 or a 10 but i had a few issues with it
1- the backwards bell sound that starts at 0:28 gets way too loud and high pitched, it would be better if you could adjust the volume on it or change it somehow
2 - along the same lines of that there are a bunch of other sounds in there that are a bit too loud...you really should adjust them. play this on big speakers and you will probably hear it
other then that i like it :P
